if i want to apply for Annika Rodriguez scholarship
do i need to be hispanic?
i am an asian intl student and I am not sure whether if would be a waste of time if i applied.</p>

<p>No, it’s open to all students (intl’s included), but they give preference to minority group students.</p>

<p>Honestly, I think it would be a waste of time. They DO give preferences to “historically underprivileged” students. This means hispanic or african americans. As an international student and as well as being Taiwanese (which is not a minority at colleges) there is very little chance they would give a scholarship. But they do have other scholarships you can look into that better fit you since you sound like a good student :)</p>
