So I’m taking AP English Language next year and my summer assignment is to annotate articles in the New Yorker, but I literally have no space at all. How do I annotate on a separate sheet of paper? I’m pretty new to annotating so I have no clue how to do this. Also, they ask me to annotate a cartoon in it. Please help!
Sticky notes are your friend.
Make note of common themes, word choice, figurative language, predictions, plot points, etc. For the cartoon, try guessing at the true meaning of various features.
sticky notes on the magazine or on the separate paper? Cause if its the magazine, is it okay to cover the words? Thank you!
