I applied to Arizona state university's online bachelor degree program, and the admission rep has been calling me like crazy keep in mind that this university has an actual campus

UNT dallas has called me twice after I applied to their university and when i applied to their monday tour. They asked me if i was sure if I wanted to attend the individual tour since i am a transfer student

UDallas(private catholic school in Irving) this random guy who says he is a student called me about my missing application info(ok i guess the actual admissions rep got tired of bugging me. I sent in that info yet they keep emailing me.

Dallas Baptist called me 4 times about nonsense and i am not even missing any information from them. They asked me dumb questions.

Why do reps keep calling me? Is that supposed to make me want to attend the university more? If i applied there is no need to call me, obviously I thought about attending before they started bugging me

I would find that very annoying as well! Did you try thanking them for their call but telling them directly that you do not want to receive any further contact by telephone? I would hope they would note that in your file.

well i sent my required info and i assumed they would stop calling, i do not plan on going to any of those schools anyways, i tried hanging up on them when i see them on caller id but they are consistent. if money was no object i would definitely attend UDallas, but they are too expensive and i just realized that the degree i wanted to get from that school would not get me a job

Yes, they are calling you because they want to keep you interested in their programs. If you aren’t interested anymore, tell them that either in an email or a letter or when they call you again. And if they continue to telephone you, write to the head of the admissions office, and complain about it. The staff has limited time and money, every call to you is wasting their resources.

I have the same problem with schools I have applied to, except through emails. I emailed them back and told them I have already picked a school and I am currently going to is but they still send me information cards in the mail. I don’t think I get emails anymore because I marked them as spam. It is annoying and I don’t know why they don’t listen. Another thing I find annoying is when I am just applying for scholarships and they only attain to certain schools online or that when you apply suddenly those schools are calling you non-stop. And I’m not even applying to the school but the scholarship.
