Hi, I called Brown admission’s office several times and the woman who transfers the phonecall seemed to be real annoyed at me, ahaha(I called 3times in a row for almost same reason) Do they leave a record of my phonecall? Also, have any idea who she is? It’s the person before you get transfered to adcoms. Since she gave me some recommendations on what to do with forms, I think she could be admission rep, but not sure. Just wondering… I don’t want to hurt my chance in any way, so probably calling them when I have all in my head is good. Ah, I hope she doesn’t remember me when I apply.

Um... why did you call 3 times in a row for almost the same reason?

I wouldn't be too paranoid about it, honestly. They're used to nervous applicants / pre-applicants. As long as you didn't say anything incredibly rude, I doubt anyone will remember or care.

First call: My cellphone somehow lost connection
Second call: The woman said she will have adcom return the phonecall, I was in the shower missed the call
Third call: so I called again :D

and I tried to be very civll and polite, so maybe I'm fine... -_-;
I've noticed that Brown is much more accepting of my situation over any other Ivies. I don't need to get teacher's recommendation letter. Just my essay on my extenuating situation.

Yale: You need your principal, teacher, and current working manager's rec. Oh and please apply to other school as well bc its competitive here
whereas
Brown: Just explain your situation in your words and attach the essay to app. Good luck.

Chill Out Buddy.

Oh, that's totally resonable that you called three times -- you were just playing a good old-fashioned game of phone tag. I thought you meant you just called to ask a similar question more than once, which is kind of weird.

Definitely don't worry about it. You're cool. :)

fred/ I'm[I try to be] chilled.
Ilovebrown/ Phone tag, ahaha, I wish they offer internet chatting with adcoms. Wouldn't that make things easier? ;)

Sometimes the Bruin Club has live AIM chats with Brown students (http://www.brown.edu/Students/Bruin_Club/ask.html). I have no idea how often these are, though.

wow! Thanks!
