I haven’t seen this yet so I thought I would start it.
One hit this year was the Target “gingerbread house” kit where you build a target store. My 28 year old daughter had a ball building it

I think we’re finally figuring out gifts for my almost 10 yo son with autism. They were all hits this year. Here he is with his gigantic pop-it mat, squishy balls, fuzzy Christmas socks, and lying on his extra-padded, fuzzy (pet bed) mat.
The (really expensive) Fender bass guitar we bought S23 was a miss because it stopped working (broken input jack?) within an hour. The store will fix it but it is going to be a bit of a hassle.
S24’s presents were delayed due to the storm (yeah, yeah, I should have ordered them earlier) so he only had one small thing to open. The 14 yo asked for “an electric razor like Dad’s” and was thrilled with it. (Don’t worry, we bought him an XBox game too.)
Hi there…a selection of red wines from a newly opened wine and spirit store in our town. DH really liked the selection and information about the wines.
Miss…for me. DH loves to get me earrings. I can’t really wear gold, and I have a drawer full of beautiful earrings I can’t wear. This year, I got beautiful sapphires…small but very pretty. I’ll definitely try them and hope they are OK.
My younger son (29) loved his standup desk, but this was a real hit:
He’s still a little boy at heart!
Our kids got us tix to see Kool and the Gang!
The somewhat unexpected hit for us was the several bottles of wine I got my son that were the same as he had at his wedding (this year). His wife was really touched by that.
Olukai slippers were also a big hit, in both men’s and women’s.
I ordered olakai slippers on Black Friday and they never shipped! I finally canceled them when it was apparent they wouldn’t be here by Christmas.
Vuori joggers for the girl and the Patagonia jacket for her SO were a hit but I wasn’t worried. They are pretty basic.
Big hit for D1 was the free standing towel warmer. She grew up with towel warmers in the bathrooms in our house and mentioned to us how much she missed always having warm, dry towels so H found her a towel warmer to sit in her bathroom.
I really want a towel warmer. Is it one of the baskets or a towel rack?
If it’s a basket, do you have to plug it in? I only have one outlet in the bathroom and it’s next to the sink. Wouldn’t be a convenient place for a towel warmer.

A piece of art work for our D from one of our favorite photographers and a terrarium.
I don’t think that we really had any misses this year!
Hits: the checks we wrote to the kiddos and their spouses.
Misses: none. The checks were it.
I guess the La Boheme tickets would be considered a hit seeing as I got them for dh and he got them for me Thankfully dd knew I had purchased them so when dh was telling her about buying them she suggested printing fake tickets so I could have input with regards to date and time.
A surprise hit: chopsticks. My S is very difficult to buy for. He loves sushi so for his stocking I bought him a beautiful pair of carved wooden chopsticks. They were inexpensive but very nice and well made. Came with a wooden stand and pretty pouch.
Hits for D20:
︎ oversized comfy hoodies, perfect for winter at a southern school; she doesn’t have to lug a jacket around campus
︎ record player, she went out yesterday to buy more albums with the $ from grandparents, although she’s adjusting to songs sounding “different” on vinyl
︎ funko pop figures, I don’t get the appeal, but they make her happy
Misses:
︎ none really, but this is the first time in 10 years she’s given us a list
Starting to shop for mattresses. What memory foam mattress to do you like?
This one. It’s SO COMFORTABLE!

I got a gift card to the Spa at the Four Seasons from S, D and SIL. That was a hit!
@deb922 this is similar to the one we got for D1:
She has room in her bathroom to have this stand on the floor and she has a plug in the wall where this will stand.
When we remodeled our master bathroom in the fall H added an electrical outlet for the towel warmer he put on the wall.
Wow…great price too. My tempurpedic full size was well over $1000 and it’s now 19 years old.
Perhaps you can get them “dipped” or reset so they are salvageable.
