ACT:
Composite = 33
English = 35
Math = 35
Reading = 34
Science = 29
Essay = 8

SAT:
2240
Critical Reading = 720
Math = 760
Writing = 760
Essay = 10

Also, would you retake either of these?

I would say that they are almost exactly the same. Maybe the SAT score is a little better, but I would just put both of them on your application.

[ACT-SAT Concordance](The ACT Test for Students | ACT)

I think the SAT is better. On the ACT website they have a conversion table and a 2250 is supposed to be equivalent to about 34 on the ACT.

I would maybe retake the ACT just because I see that it was just Science that brought down so If you worked on that section you could easily get a 34+ composite.

Honestly, I’d just send in both… They’re both great scores…

Guys, serious question.

Do the ACT composite scores still correspond with a 2400-scale SAT score? The concordance table tells me that they now consider your English/Writing as a major part of the correspondance.

Aka, a 36 composite + 30 english/writng = 2270?
Or is a 36 composite still a quasi-2400? Regardless of your english/writing score.

For some schools like MIT for example, the concordance table is not used. MIT has its own acceptance rate of ACT scores based on past students.

I think your SAT score is fine or submit both.
