<p>Do top ivies really place a huge emphasis on the SAT? I don’t mean OP’s GPA is low at all, but what about those who have high GPA, but just can’t concentrate on a test for 4 hours?
I’m just wondering because I have friends with high SATs but low (which really is not low, but like A-s) GPA at a mediocre school and they are applying to top ivies. What SAT score should one have before they think they can apply to and ivy?</p>
<p>By the way, taking hardest classes at a top school and getting a not so high GPA (your 3.64) is not bad…something like a 3.0 would be questionable.</p>
