hi. I sent my application in on November 6th, and my transcript the week of November 14 (don't remember the exact day) um, I feel like ive had the "your application is being reviewed" message for ages and I wonder if the delay is normal, or if it's because I sent my application late?

I have a 3.9 gpa, about 160 service hours, an sat score of 1210 (720 CR 490 M) and a 26 on my act.

maybe it's just because the fsu decisions came out yesterday, but Im starting to feel antsy about how long it's taken!

There is absolutely no specific or estimated amount of time to when the decisions will be made. Some people could receive decisions in days, weeks, or even months. Don’t think that when they look at your application they will make a decision right away, because they will compare you to the other students that are applying. However, usually the higher stats do get a response back sooner.

okay, thank you! i mean, i understood that it wasn’t coming back immediately, but i know some of my friends who had gotten acceptance letters in a matter of a few weeks, and i was just wondering if it had to do with the date of my submitted application or not.

however, i would like to know my chances of getting accepted.

To me it said when it said “Your application is being reviewed” I got my decision the same day. I applied October 31st and got my decision Dec. 8. You’ll get in though don’t worry, I had a 4.09 recalculated GPA and a 26 act and no community service hours.
