Does anyone know hoe NYU views midyear reports. Up until now my gpa was a 90 basically, and this term it was an 88. Do you think that this will ruin my chances?

definitely not.

im also applying to Brandis, tufts and John Hopkins (and soem safeties). Am I out for those?

depends on your entire application..

You seem to be speaking about one term rather than your cumulative GPA.

yes my cumulative gpa is a 90, my SAT scores is a 2160, and Sat2s r in the 700s. This one term tho it was an 88.

Nyu Doesn't Require Midyears!!!!!

don't confuse the lad.......he thinks that NYU is just looking for an excuse to remove him from the pool of accepted laddies.

I'm just saying that NYU doesn't require midyear grades. He asked "how does NYU view midyear grades?" If they don't even require it, they won't care what he gets. They do want a final transcript though (and your senior grades shouldn't be absoutely horrendous).

As for your other schools who want midyears, I'm sure a 90->88 isn't going to ruin you. It won't break you; however, it could've helped if you went from, say, 90->95 though.

for the record he is actually a she

so we have Lassie and not Laddie???
