your chances are aboud as good as the other 3000 EA applicants...sorry, but I don't want to get your hopes up. Obviously they'll seriously consider you. It's just never a sure thing.

holy crap. dude.....if she just has average chances, then i shouldnt even try man. i think i have ok chances, but she's got way more than me.
i think shes unbelievable. is she doesnt get in...wow. then the system is ridiculous. good luck jia--i'll be an english major too. how did you get into seventeen magazine??

Random. The TV and magazine things were totally random - I got a mass email from seventeen.com asking readers to send in pictures, and I sent in a picture of myself in what I wore to school, and they called me asking me to be in the issue. And the TV thing - there was a booth in the mall and I went in and made a tape.

Yale's just so ridiculously competitive that I'm definitely not going to get any of my hopes up...

yeah well thats a good plan of action, just so u don't get disappointed. But honestly, you're gonna have much higher chances than the rest of us, trust me. But yeah, if you want, don't expect much, but realistically, if any of us have a decent chance, youve got a very good chance

You're fifteen? Are you technically a senior? Wow...I had a friend who went to college early (but he regretted it later)...I hope it works out for you.

I am actually a senior. I've been moved up two grades forever; I was in first grade at age four. It just looks like a big deal on paper... which I guess could work out well for me in this case.
