SO im completing my fall freshmen semester at a satellite school right now and I am definitely reconsidering the CAP choice for me. From what I hear its next to impossible to get internally transfered into the two schools im interested in, McCombs and Cockrell. SOOOO damage control time, what the hell should I do just make sure I select Natural Sciences for my guaranteed admission? Because that seems the most logical choice...I want to have some career coming out of college so Liberal arts isn't a option. Any advice is warranted please HALP!

I know a bunch of people that got into McCombs… It’s tough but not impossible. Keep up your gpa and apply to those two. As long as you get the 3.2 you’ll get into UT and if you don’t get into your first 2 choices I think they’ll throw you in Undergraduate Studies undeclared or something but after that it’s rather simple to transfer to Natural Sciences or if you do AMAZING McCombs and Cockrell.

Thanks for the reassurance, do you know if there are any common extracurriculars that those schools look for? what should I be doing besides getting good grades?
