Would she be a good candidate for Rice? Does Rice give any merit aid?

Rice gives merit aid, but it is very competitive. Rice meets full financial need and has just rolled out a new financial aid program for low and middle income students. Every student that applies is automatically considered for the merit awards.https://financialaid.rice.edu/rice-investment-faqs

keep in mind people make between 130000- 200000 provided normal assets will be eligible for 1/2 tuition so it is always worth applying if there is any chance you family falls under that number.
