You have a good ACT score. Starting a web design company will absolutely look awesome. Those two things are the strongest parts of your application. Your unweighted GPA is somewhat poor, and your non-work extracurriculars aren’t that good (sports don’t look that good, unless you are being recruited).

Your scores are in range even for UChicago and UPenn. If math isn’t your strong suit, that doesn’t ruin your chances, but lacking EC’s might at these super selective schools. Make sure to highlight that company of yours, that is something that could give you an advantage. Even though the acceptance rate is still low, UPenn loves early applicants, and try to show them some demonstrated interest as well if you haven’t already, since they do take that into account (more than most other selective schools, I believe).

decent GPA with nice test scores. I would say your EC are solid. I think u should have had more APs before senior year. Also find a Leadership position to show u have leadership characteristics.
I would say all those schools are matches for you, expcept for UPenn and UChicago which are reaches

Thanks iflylikeaturtle. Yeah I think my company definitely is a strong suit I am going to write about that on the common app spot that asks you to expand an EC. From what I remember about the common app is that there really isn’t that many spots for ECs. I know I am not a usamo winner but I think I do have a decent mix of school related and non school related ECs. And I have visited uPenn it Is good to know they care about interest

And brandeisboy. I agree I do need to show some more leadership. And compared with other ccers my APs suck. But compared to my class only two people have taken three APs so far a few twos and then the rest obviously one maybe my GC can talk about that in her rec

If you emphasize the web design company you’ll do great :)
