Anyways, I'm looking to major in English and I know Bing is great for everything. At the moment, it is looking to be the best SUNY for me...but after looking at other chance threads, I feel a bit overwhelmed.

Your SAT II and ACT scores seem to be on par with Harpur (since you're interested in being an English major). But your GPA could be a little bit higher. Binghamton has gotten very competitive over the past several years. I believe the average GPA stands in the mid/lower 90's right now. If you're in your senior year right now I would say work hard during your first semester and if you do well you can send them your midterm grades.

Even if you score very high (high 12's and low 13's around) on your SAT/ACT's, if your average is below a 90(like 88-89), it is still difficult to get in?!?!
