What are my chances at Princeton, Williams, Amherst, Middlebury, Bowdoin, Bates, Colby?

What is your GPA scale? If you mean that your GPA is A or above, I think you'll get into all except Princeton, and you have chances there, too.

it's a 4.0 scale but with 4.25 for A+s. i've gotten a couple of A-s, but generally no grades below A or A+ since freshman year. we are doing IB and not AP so it's all unweighted though...
thanks for your post! :)

bump bump bump

bump bump bump

I think you have stellar chances at nearly all those schools, especially Middlebury, who have exceptional international studies programs, and will be drawn to your exposure to various cultures.

All in all, good chances at all the schools you mentioned. Williams and Princeton may be a little tougher though.

bump bump bump

bump bump bump!

aaaaaarg!!! bump bump bump

LOL!!!! This is so funny!!!! ..... Kimmy?

Btw this is Anna..... small world. I'm applying to really similar schools except Brown instead of Princeton.

haha CRAZY. milena is milka, btw... this site is freaking me out lol. go on the buffalo thread where people post their scores and what colleges they got into... aaah! hehe. dude that would be so cool if we ended up going to the same college.

I think you have an excellent shot at all except Princeton. But if your essays were terrific, I don't see why Princeton would reject you ...

Princeton - maybe not. (still, hope for the best)
Williams - Yeah, why not? (50%)
Amherst - Yeah, why not? (55%)
Middlebury - Yeah, why not? (65%)
Bowdoin - dunno
Bates - dunno
Colby - dunno

Sorry that I don't know much about small colleges.

Yeah that would be so cool!!!I think we're the only ones applying to the US liberal arts schools. This is where I want to go:

Brown

Amherst

Bowdoin

Colby

Bates?

I'm considering middlebury too but it's kinda far from where we live in canada. My parents want me to be able to drive back home or watever.

Btw, how do u know your class rank? Does Ms. Scholz tell us? I'm curious what number I am.

nah she won't tell us... martin minarovic has a theory that i am number one... there are a couple of people with all As... and our grade is like, only so big. it sounds pretentious i know lol. i was trying to conserve my dignity but a couple of days ago it was like no. i need some reassurance. lol.

Cool! So who else has all A's? There can't be that many people... I didn't know you took four higher levels. What are they? Bio, Psych, English... History?

Hard to imagine a place in Canada where Amherst is closer than Middlebury. Are you in the Maritime Provinces?

Lol yeah, exactly. Good old Prince Edward Island is where I spend my summers - the rest of the year I'm in the Czech Republic.
