102 weighted average, 97 unweighted, all honors and ap (no 4.0 scale at my school)
sat I: 720 math, 640 cr, 740 writing
sat IIs: chemistry 750, math 1c 680, will take math 2c and bio and retake 1c
ranked 5/900+ at public school
National Honors Society
AP Scholar
AMC participant
Local academic olympics (one student selected to represent school in each subject every year) taken twice and won third prize for ap bio sophomore year.
National Chemistry Olympiad
Bausch and Lomb honorary science award
two years perfect attendance(not really important)
a few other little things here and there, but not too important</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Boys volleyball team for three years (possible captain?)
1 year of chess club
2 years of environmental club

<p>ecs is where i am weakest, volleyball takes a huge amount of time out of my day, 2+ hours every day, 6 days a week for one out of two terms(4.5 months).</p>

<p>local hospital volunteer for three months until swine flu outbreak when i was no longer allowed b/c i was too young
church volunteer
american cancer society fundraiser
newspaper boy for 2 years
Participated in Quality of Life, tried to educate public on alternative energies
numerous clean ups at local parks
Had a small business going for a while; bred and sold animals to pet stores</p>

<p>there ya go, I did my best hahah.
No Regional/Natl EC, Low(ish) SAT scores, so that will limit you for the Ivies</p>

<p>The 1360 CR plus math will make ivies, Northwestern and JHU quite tough without an exceptional EC. The others should yield several acceptances. Good luck!</p>

<p>thanks, i really hope i get lucky and just one ivy will except me. how much of a factor does sat writing play in the ivies because it would help me out a bit?</p>

<p>oh and justnk, the schools you said i matched… my stats are way above average for those schools, would you not agree?</p>
