<p>Hello everyone! I've been lurking this forum for a couple of months now, and after seeing a couple of my friends get accepted EA at Tech, I'm rather curious as to what my chances are in getting admittance when applying for regular decision. Hence I've finally created an account and got the nerve to post some info. If I can provide any more information that would factor into my acceptance, please let me know. Thank you!</p>

<p>Also, I play for a community adult league soccer team, and created my own airsoft team with a bunch of friends. I don’t know if that helps, but I figured it couldn’t hurt!</p>

<p>I calculated a 3.54 UW GPA and a 3.61 GT GPA. Those are borderline, but not bad. The SAT Math looks good, but the CR is going to hurt. You might want to test again to see if you can get that into the 600’s. </p>

<p>Did you take all of the AP courses offered at your school?</p>

<p>How did you calculate that GPA? From my understanding, Tech keeps the honors points added on. As for the AP courses, my school doesn’t offer many. Due to conflicting schedules, I don’t know which I would have been able to take, but in addition to the ones I already have, they also have AP Chemistry and AP Psychology. I applied for AP Chem last year, but the class didn’t make, and AP psychology is relatively new.</p>

<p>On the contrary, I calculated a 3.86 GT GPA (112/29). Your SAT scores are nothing special but probably good enough to get in with a 3.86. The only thing that would make me nervous if I were you is your course rigor is very weak, but hopefully they see you are taking 3 APs this year (which will really only cancel out with the fact that you are taking 4 useless classes).</p>
