I first applied as a film major, which I later realized was way more competitive to get into than regular admission, so while I'm still waiting to hear back on that, they let me also apply with a second choice major (They said I should here back on that in about two weeks). So given the fact that I applied so late, do I have even a slight chance at getting in if I'm rejected from film production as I expect to be?

Well I applied for the film school a day before the deadline and they said that if rejected, my application would be under appeals for their regular admission.

Well I finally heard back yesterday and happy to say I got in. However, during my long await I ended up developing a fondness for Chapman and now my decision is going to be harder than I thought. Anyone feel like giving me reasons why I should pick one over the other?

No, I didn't. I decided not to go to LMU after all anyway. They didn't give me dime and would have ended up costing about $20,000 per year more than Chapman.
