will be applying for ross in the beginning of next week (by sat. if im lucky). will i still have a chance or is it really too late to apply?

Hmm. I'd say match to mid reach just because of your GPA; however, your EC's are so incredibly awesome that I think the adcoms would be willing to overlook that lowly aspect.

Personally, I think you should send both your ACT and your SAT because neither is truly stronger than the other.

And I thought you can't go to Ross until your sophomore year.....

^ what i meant to say was that i wanted to go to ross. but until then, ill actually be applying for the college of literature, arts and sciences.
lol -- sorry for the confusion. :)

reach, OOS, low GPA

ECs are very solid though, could be a match if adcoms give them serious weight. good luck!

I would say slight reach... Your gpa is low but your SAT I think makes up for it a little. As for your volunteer/ec's, theres nothing spectacular about them (48 hours for thanksgiving?)... I think if you go to a difficult school and UM recognizes that, you'll get in.. just write some good essays for now

Michigan does not consider SAT IIs, so you don't have to worry about those. Your ACT/SAT scores are right around the Michigan norm, but your GPA is slightly lower than average. I take it your GPA is unweighed. IF that's the case, I think Michigan is a match/slight reach.

^ GPA is unweighted. freshman year-3.3 ; sophomore year-3.7 ; junioryear-3.8

BUMPED. anyone else want to chance me?

Michigan does not consider Freshman year when calculating GPA. As such, your GPA would be closer to 3.75. You are in good shape. I'll go with match.
