College Choices:
UC Berkeley
UC LA
UC SD (saftey?)
UC Davis (safety)
UC Irvine (saftey)
Univ. Southern California
Rutger's NJ State
NYU
Colombia
Wash. Univ. St. Louis
Purdue (parents went here so i might get legacy points)

Majoring in either Finance, or Prepharmacy Program

I think you have fairly solid stats for a lot of the UCs. You don’t really have to worry about that SATII Lit score since I dont think any schools require more than 3. Your ECs are lacking a bit but above average I’d say.

UC Berkeley - reach
UC LA - reach
UC SD (saftey?) - match-safety
UC Davis (safety) - safety
UC Irvine (saftey) - safety
Univ. Southern California - reach
Rutger’s NJ State - safety
NYU - match
Colombia - reach
Wash. Univ. St. Louis - reach
Purdue (parents went here so i might get legacy points) - in

Chance Me?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/775406-being-recruited-but-chance-me.html

Thanks, but isn’t USC on the same level as UCSD?or even a few ranks behind?

Ranking wise USC is I think in the low thirties/high twenties while UCSD is in the high thirties/low forties (according to USNWR). I think that USC generally has a tougher admission process though, I know a lot of people that don’t get in to USC but get into UCLA or Berkeley…so it’s a little strange (at least at my school)

bump bump bump

Berkeley, LA: Reach
USC: reach (i’m not quite sure on this one…not a lot of my friends applied to USC)
SD: match-ish
NYU: reach i think…(admit stats are similar to USC I think…(
columbia & WashU: reach definitely
Purdue: probably in

does it help/hurt my chances should I change my major? to say…chemistry, cuz LA’s finance major is a lot more competitive than its chem major
