Another chances thread... lol

I'd just like to get opinions to see whether or not I'm above-average-competitive, just average-competitive, or below average.

I am applying RD to Yale.

GPA: 4.3 weighted. 3.7 unweighted. (really tough prep school that limits # of honors classes; also i'm taking the most rigorous load. I have quite a few B's too, as in 2 each semester soph year, 1 in junior year, probably 1 in senior year.)
Rank: School doesn't rank, but probably in top 15/120
SAT: 2300 (800 Math, 760 Verbal, 740 Writing)
SAT II: 800 MathII, 790 US History, 790 Bio
APs: 5's on Calc, US history, Physics B, English Language

Essays: Should be great
Recommendations: Great, but definitely not along the lines of "best student ever taught."

ECs:
Art (Took lots of classes, planning to send in portfolio, I've only done one competition in which I received national recognition (is that bad that i've only done one?) but I've designed lots of stuff for school)
Varsity Swimming Cap't, lettered a few times. (But not getting recruited)
Culture Club pres. & co-founder
Yearbook Editor in chief
Math Team
A few other clubs that I've been members for 2-3 years.

Awards: Nat'l recognition for art, National merit semifinalist, one or two 1st places at a few local math/language competitions, Scholar-athlete award, Math Team state champs during freshman year, AP Scholar

Work:
50 Volunteer hours, have done scientific research in a lab over summer

it all depends on how good you are at art.

if you're really good then you're a little bit above average.
if not, then i'd say you're a bit below average.

that gpa is going to sting.

I disagree with secshisuhee because most of your numbers are quite good. It depends how acclaimed your particular prep school is, and what kind of impression your art portfolio makes. SAT/AP scores are definitely above-average, and while ECs are fairly average, you have the opportunity to have your art shine through.
