Another chances thread...Naked honesty welcome

Hey all,

I already posted this in the chances thread but it seems only kids my age are looking at it.

Stanford's been my dream ever since second grade, when John Elway became my hero. A brutally honest evalution is appreciated. I'm a suburban, male, middle-class Asian (junior) from Massachusetts, just outside Boston. I must admit I am feeling some anxiety after seeing so many qualified applicants get owned in the RD/EA rounds, but here goes.

Good scores
Good grades
Nice awards

You would be a deserving admit.

Apply EA to maximize your chances.

I know people that have been rejected with higher stats and rejected w/ lower. Roll the dice...you've earned it. :)

Yeah I would encourage you to apply early if you have most of your SATs done by that time. Your stats look great, but what I've noticed about Stanford, is that they pay a LOT of attention to your essays and recs, so really devote some time to those. If you stand out as a unique, interesting individual, you'll definitely have a strong chance. They don't just want someone with all the stats but no personality. I'm sure you won't have a problem with that, but it's something to focus on. Best of luck!

Yes, you should include math team on your application. If you qualified for the AIME or anything like that, include that as well.
