With an outstanding academic record, scientific research, a job at a good company, and great volunteer work, I doubt there is ANY chance you'll get in. Sorry, try SF State.
PS:
why would you research at Davis? YSP or something? I mean, you have cal, stanford, and various govt labs...

Haha. I am just disenfranchised with chances threads. Esp with kids who obviously have a good shot. If you don't have the critical thinking skills to realize that you have a good chance of getting in, then maybe you lack the critical thinking skills Stanford requires (in reference to this thread).

BTW, I dont know what "Asheever" means...lol. But in Punjabi, names are often made of syllables. Some dialects would say "Ash" means hope, but "veer" definitely means brother.

yeah buddy
national merit winners aren't announcned until march/april
you're probably confused with national merit semifinalist, that's probably what you fall under currently

"Or maybe he's one of those ppl that lie, which would be worse than that time I tried to make a time machine."
Oh yeah! You can write about that for your intellectual experience essay!!

Anyway what is the difference between National Merit Winner and National Merit Scholarship?
