Another Chances Thread!!

<p>I posted this before in the chances thread right before the scary Time Warp. Here it is again. Please be honest.</p>

<p>I'm a high school senior, a white male, from Long Island, NY.
I applied as an Early Decision II candidate.
I am ranked 46 of 594 with a 92.59 unweighted GPA and a 107.89 weighted GPA. My grades are much higher in my junior year than the previous years.
Last year, took two AP classes - American History (4) and Physics B (3).
This year, I am taking four APs (Calculus AB, Psychology, Biology, Economics), Honors English, and College Level Spanish 5.
SAT Scores: First time: CR: 600 M: 630 W: 550. So 1230/1600 and 1780/2400
Second time: CR: 610 M: 690 W: 520. So 1300/1600 and 1820/2400
SAT Subject Tests: Mathematics Level 1 - 710; U.S. History - 680.
Act: 27. (25E, 33M, 24R, 26S).
Vice President of Student Government, Chief Editor of the DVD Yearbook Club, First Place winner in the counties for DECA, first place winner in school's Geography Bee. Football Player and Wrestler up to 10th Grade. National Honor Society.
Good essay praising the university, fantastic recommendation from AP US History Teacher.</p>

<p>i think you have really good chances of getting in- you have a good rank, GPA, and decent SAT's</p>

<p>btw, when do you find out about EDII?</p>

<p>I'd guess about a 75% chance. GW seems to value rank over pure SAT, so that's good for you. Your SAT's are on the low side, but as I said, that does not seem to be their hot button. Your EC's appear strong, but you don't give length of time / committment, so that might be the key.</p>
