Will my extracurriculars bring me down?

Oh, I'm a white Jewish male from north of Atlanta, very competitive public school.

I'd say you have excellent chances. Your extracurriculars are good enough for those standardized test scores. I wouldn't worry.

you could have no ECs and you'd still get in. 1580 SAT is friggin amazing. I hope you're applying to tougher schools... possibly some ivies. what are you majoring in? and what other schools did u apply to?

I've submitted my application to Vandy, and my SAT I and II scores. Does Vandy consider ACT scores? Can I still submit them and have them considered even though the application deadline has passed?

I didn't realize the SAT mattered that much. I'm going for the H&OD because I heard a lot of good things about it. I'm also applying to Duke, Penn, and Princeton, but it remains to be seen where I'll get in. And my faithful backup Georgia Tech is still waiting for me to accept...

Thanks for the responses.

HOD is good if you want to go into business or something. What kind of career are you interested in?

(btw, you are most likely in)

SAMMIE--go ahead and forward your ACT scores to Vandy. I doubt they wouldnt accept a late score report (if you application is already complete).

Yeah, I'm pretty much looking at a business career. I'm not entirely sure, but that seems the most likely.
