what are my chances at schools like:
Carnegie Mellon
UMich
Washington Univ in St. Louis
Pitt Honors
MIT and Caltech possibly

please somebody help a brotha out, i really have no idea what i can and cant get into

Carnegie Mellon- in if ur top 10%, possible if ur slightly out bc 76% were in the top 10% last year as opposed to more
UMich- instate in, out of state probly not bc they're highly rank based and 600 isnt viewed as gigantic, its a large public is all.
Washington Univ in St. Louis- 20%
Pitt Honors-in
MIT and Caltech-no real chance
--> get ur rank up and dont write on ur application its extremely hard to play varsity in school of 2400 bc i go to a school of 2000 and any1 can do varsity track or football, both of which i did.

what you said about sports makes sense, i forgot i coulda played track or football or something that you dont need to tryout, i just wouldnt have played much

so assuming im top ten percent by the time i send apps out, what do my chances look like
