Another Chances Thread!

Aloha Everyone,

please chance me for JHU, i've been obsessed with the school for a few years now, and I couldn't apply ED because my school did not finish the paperwork on time! argh.
also from any current student? do you feel safe on campus and around? or even especially pre-med students do you feel safe near the jhu hopsital?

I'll be applying for First Choice: Biology Second Choice: Mathematics and Computer Science, yes I know the two are completely irrelevant.

ACT: 28
Take 5 Honors (GCE) Classes (Bio, Math, Physics, Chem, Greek), Compared to everyone else in class that takes 3 or even 2 and so our rank is crap and since the top 10 people all have a GPA of 4, I'm ranked last because it's put alphabetically and my last name starts with a V. so 10/49 (don't worry I make sure my idiotic counselor explains this)

thank you!!!!

Your language skills are impressive. Your test scores do not correlate with your grades either with the SAT or the ACT, so not sure how that is going to work. You have an impressive list of EC's and so I imagine narrowing that down to show a certain passion in an essay might be helpful.

I have no idea how the admissions offices work so I have no idea what your "chances" are. But it is my believe there are only a few times when you can really go for it and this is one of those times.
