I know that there are about 8 billion of these chances posts, but I seriously need a reality check (my guidance counselor just tells me what I want to hear, rather than what I need to). If someone could give me their input as to my chances of being accepted into Georgetown RD (it's my reach school as of right now), I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks so much!

I'm waiting to recieve scores from my SAT II subject tests (I took Lit, Math level 1, and US History)

my stats are VERY similar to yours, my SAT composite is the same... identical on writing, but I did better on math and worse on verbal. your GPA and course load is really impressive, so I think you have a good shot... It is so frustrating though that they don't look at the writing section, don't you think? I am applying regular to the business school, but I doubt I'll get in...

I think you could get in if you had really good recs and good essays. The only thing that's holding you back a bit is your math score. You should really retake the SAT and work hard on improving your math score. If you can boost it 50-70 points I'd say you have a really good chance.

Thanks so much for all of your input, I really appreciate it!

ilovedogs- I completely agree; they added that stupid writing section, and no one cares about it! I can understand why, seeing as it's only a measure of how well you can bs in about 25 minutes (but bs-ing IS a major aspect of life and should therefore be considered prevalent to the admissions process).
