Another Columbia vs. Chicago thread....

Which school offers a better undergraduate physics program: Columbia or UChicago?

I've been accepted to Columbia as a I.Rabi Scholar and it sounds fantastic (guaranteed research opportunities with professors) but I just want to know more about how the two schools compare.

the physics depts are Col and Chi are equally strong, I wouldn’t turn down the Rabi scholarship, it’s only for a very select few and give you a serious advantage, just do a search on this forum. Physics will be one of the toughest majors in each school, with some of the smartest kids in each school studying it.

^^Agreed. If you’re a Rabi, take Columbia, don’t ask questions. Really.

Thanks for the responses!

How many Rabi scholars are there?

Ten: [Rabi Scholars](http://www.columbia.edu/cu/physics/undergrad/main/organizations/RabiScholars.html)
