I am looking into schools, and really want to do something music related that also lets me study the electronics field. I play the piano/keyboard. I have found some great programs, such as Carnegie Mellon's Audio Production degree and University of Hartford's Acoustic Engineering and Music degree, but I also want to look into pursuing both a BS in electronic engineering and a BM. I know that most schools frown on that, but I want to study electronic and computer music or audio production/recording engineering etc. As there is some overlap in these programs at a lot of schools, does anyone know of anywhere that might be willing to work with me on this? I'd really prefer if there was a strong performance or composition element in the music side rather than just getting a BA in recording engineering without any playing. Thanks in advance for any help!
