Another dumb retake thread (but kind of complicated)

I’m going to be a senior this fall, and I have several options in regards to testing. Do you guys think i should:

Retake the SAT in Oct. for the third time. Superscored I have a 2240
(1st time- 730CR, 670M, 760W & 2nd time- 800CR, 680M, 710W). I’m pretty insecure about my math score, but I don’t know if I CAN get it above 700.

Retake the ACT in Oct. for the fouth time. The third time I took it, i got a 33 (36E,33M,36R, and 27S!). The reason I’m considering retaking this is because my science score dropped 6 points from the second time I took it, and I want to major in science.

OR
3. Forget both the ACT and SAT, and take another subject test. I’ve taken 2 already (math II & english lit) and I’m pleased with them, but I was thinking about taking one in science. If I did this, I would have to start studying NOW.

I was considering applying to Yale EA, but I feel really underqualified…

I'd retake the SAT I for a better math score if I were you...

Yeah I reccomend you study really hard to get your math score up especially since you are applying to Yale. A 700+ would be ideal...

800CR? I'm impressed =D
Do you know what science you want to major in?
I'd say take SAT in October, do a subject test in science that you know you'll do well on for December.

SAT (10 char)

I think your SAT I score is fine, I mean I am going to apply to Yale and I got a 670 the first time like you and the second time it didn't go up. So I am kind of in a similar boat and I would just suggest that you take one more SAT II (thats what I am doing) if you want to apply to Harvard or Princeton and not worry about it. The difference between a 2240 and anything above it is pretty much irrelevant. You scores make you qualified...

@Vivi- I think I want to major in Biochem.. or just chem. but I'm not sure.
See, for any science sat II, I would pretty much have to self-study b/c my school doesn't offer any AP sciences.

So taking the SAT three times wouldn't seem a bit.... excessive?

^ it won't seem excessive if you know you can significantly bring up that M score. If it's just like a 20-point increase, though, you might as well forget it.
