Woot! Beat the Rebels! Fun game to watch!

What makes it really sweet is that it's a conference game.

It got cold there in the 4th quarter.

Air Force senior receiver Chad Hall turned in a standout performance, senior quarterback Shaun Carney broke a big play and the Falcons’ defense made some timely stops.

All that — and a little help from Mother Nature — added up to a much needed 31-14 defeat of UNLV on Saturday night at Falcon Stadium.

With the win, AFA snapped a two-game losing skid and improved to 4-2 and 3-1 in the Mountain West Conference. UNLV fell to 2-4 and 1-1.

“Coming off the type of loss we had with Navy, this is just big for us,” senior linebacker Drew Fowler said. “I’ve been telling the boys this is like a turning point for us in the season.”

Undefeated @ home! that's the way we roll @ USAFA
