Another Harvard EA Hopeful- gimme it straight

<p>I'm feeling pretty strong on my app, but feel free to tell me the truth even if it will hurt (but I'm hoping it won't). I hope to be a future Harvard student by the time the letters come out...</p>

2 years school swim team
2 years training for Triathalons (I think this is a pretty strong hook, I've run 2 half-ironman triathalons and placed 2nd each time in my age group, although age group was only about 5 people. I'm not recruitable but I think this stands out more than the average EC)

Research Internship 2 years- I've co-published a paper with my mentor in a psychology journal (big hook here too I think)

<p>Your research, GPA, and SAT scores are extremely strong. Some of your extracurriculars don't seem as in-depth as you would want them to be for Harvard. Since you don't have any really national-level extracurriculars (excpet for your psych research, which is nice), I can't say you're a lock. But you've certainly got a great chance if you have great essays and recs.</p>
