another math question help please!!! :)

Write the point-slope form of an equation of the line that passes through the given point and has the given slope.

(-5, 9)

m = -7/8

Answer the question using the form y + A = B(x + C).

A=?
B=?
C=?

Express the function in the form f 0 g.
F(x) = cos(sqrt(x))

f(x) = cos(x)

g(x)= ????

Thanks so much

If anybody has AIM that i could talk to them, that would help .

point slope form would be:
y-y1=m(x-x1)
so, plugging in your numbers, it would be:
y-9=(-7/8)(x+5)

I'm guessing A=-9 B=(-7/8) C=-5

For the second quesiton, I can't remember what f 0 g was..

bump .....

err, is it an SAT I or II question?

@Redwood :
your second question
is it given that F(x) = fog (x) ?
if yes, you have :
cos (sqrtx) = f ( g(x) ) = cos (g(x)) => g(x) = sqrt x
