first of all, do we have to put the number down next to course? or just the letter?

I would put the score down as it was listing on your transcript - if they saw the percentage before, include it for the midyear.

Given UVa's emphasis on its honor code I would say it's especially important to self-report with the greatest accuracy possible. As you know, too, if you're admitted UVa will receive your official year-end transcript from your high school.

yes, thats true. but can u comment on this :

damn it.... i got a 92.4 in french and my teacher wont bump it..... i hate this

Naturally, an A would look better. However, AP Physics is likely the toughest course, so maybe that will be taken into consideration. My son also has a B for the 2nd quarter and is likewise concerned about it. At least you both have respectable grades in difficult courses - a lot of kids in my son's HS dropped AP Physics - I think that looks worse. All I can say is don't give up and keep your grades high: if you find yourself in a wait list situation, your third - and forth quarter grades will matter.

most likely, i will probably get straight A's this year, even though i have a B in physics. but i just wanna get in....

This is not specifically relevant to your physics grade, but as you know from other threads, once you are deferred the changes of admission to that school are pretty slim, though they exist--so concentrate your efforts on doing really well and getting into other great schools, not just UVa.
