Hey everyone, I'm a junior in high school who wants to apply to Mizzou.

I don't know my class rank and haven't taken SAT/ACT yet (will in June), and have had a pretty interesting high school career. I go to a small private prep school, so our rules are kinda strange...(Can't take more than 2 AP classes a year).

I started out bad. OK, very bad. I didn't know GPAs went that low. I had a grip of personal traumas, and starting in to my sophomore year, things started looking up. Now, almost complete with my junior year, I've become an above average student.

I flunked some courses in freshman/sophomore year, and made those up in summer school, bringing those GPAs to 3.0-3.26.

This year I've maintained a high GPA and my cummulative GPA, with estimated senior GPA, will be somewhere in the 3.0-3.3 range.

I know this is pretty hard to guess chances with little information, but I'm mainly just trying to get a feel for the entire process, not so much looking for a definite answer.

Here are some Stats:

My school only allows us to take 2 AP courses a year, I took AP Composition this year and will take AP Literature next year.

On yearbook/newspaper/photo staff

Will be editor of school newspaper next year

Write for my local paper's high school section

Frequent 'Letters to the editor' writer published in: local papers, Time, Newsweek, NYT

Participated as one of 16 in Central California High School Journalism Workshop

Honorable Mention, Editorial Writing: San Joaquin Valley Scholastic Press Association

Wed Editor, Channel One News' Student-Produced Week 2006

Write/edit/publish my own underground newspaper with web counterpart

I'm also wondering, considering my GPA, what is a good score on ACT/SAT?

Thanks for any help!
