Chance for:
U of Rochester
All the Ivies except Brown
University at Buffalo
Northwestern
WUSTL
and any other suggestions too

Possibly toss in NYU Stern in there too

U of Rochester--Match
Harvard/Yale/Princeton--Reach
Columbia/Dartmouth--Slight Reach--but Reach at both if you apply to both
Penn--Match to Slight Reach
Cornell--Match
University at Buffalo--Safe Match
Northwestern--Slight Reach
WUSTL--Match
NYU (Stern)--Match

Drop your applications to Harvard/Yale/Princeton, and Columbia, and you'll have much better chances of being accepted to Dartmouth and/or Penn.

hey calcruzer thanks that makes me feel a lot more confident!
:)

btw I am from NYS if that makes any difference.

HYP-- Reach (but still apply since it's a reach for nearly everyone)
Northwestern-- Match to slight reach
WUSTL -- Match

I don't know much bout the others... sorry.

HYP -- High Reach
Other Ivies -- Reach
WUSTL, Northwestern, NYU Stern -- Low Reach
Rochester and Buffalo -- Match

oh yeah i think i am in the top 10 percentile, but school doesnt rank

Out of curiosity, why not Brown?

I don't want to pretend to know anything about chances, but your stats look solid; Ivies are unpredictable, but I'm sure you'll be in at most of the non-Ivy schools to which you apply.

Brown...
haha i'm actually not too sure why it just doesn't really appeal to me that much lol

as everyone else said, most of the ivies are crapshoots, but you have as good as a chance as anyone else based on your stats.

EC's will be a big weakness for any ivies, SAT's will be problamatic at the top ivies, id have to say no to them.

Northwestern- reasonable reach

In at all the others.

i think ivies are a bit too high, especially with your lower SAT scores. Also, for those top ivy league level schools, ECs become very important, and although you seem to do well in sports, you dont seem to have very prestigious awards/honors, and being good at sports is not very useful unless you wana get recruited.

yeahhhhh i'm not getting recruited
I think I will bring my SAT scores up, I'm going to study the entire summer for them

and also i've been playing guitar for five years

U of Rochester- Match
All the Ivies except Brown- All reaches (HYP are big reaches, the others are medium reaches)
University at Buffalo- Match
Northwestern- Match
WUSTL- Match
NYU Stern- Reach (it's uber competitive)

^really stern is that competitive?

Stern is one of the top ranked business schools in the entire nation, so yes, it is that competitive.

U of Rochester - Match
All the Ivies except Brown - High Reaches
University at Buffalo -Match
Northwestern -Reach (maybe low reach)
WUSTL -Match
Consider U of MN, it's pretty good, and it's probably a high match

Stern isn't more selective than Northwestern. Its a high match. I would increase your SAT scores, it will make a huge difference.

Try to get those SAT scores up and take some SAT II's. Right now
U of Rochester-match
All the Ivies except Brown-reach
University at Buffalo-safety
Northwestern-match/reach
WUSTL-match/reach
