I'm picking classes right now for senior year, 2009-2010.

and here's what I'll have right now,

English AP
Spanish AP
Comparative Government AP
Economics AP
Calculus AP, AB
Physics Honors

I'm thinking about taking AP Statistics also; if I don't take it I'd have a free period every single day. What do you guys think? Should I take it or not? Is it a very stressful class?

Take it! Statistics is awesome and will radically change the way you think for the rest of your life. Also, if you're ever interested in doing any sort of research, statistics background is very useful to have.

Statistics is a whole lot more pertinent (as a math subject) to non-math/science based professions than calculus.

Actually, it's pretty relevant in all fields. Graphs and charts are storehouses of valuable information, and a knowledgeable reading of one can either make or break a business (just one of many examples).

I didn't find it that stressful and a lot of people call it an "easy AP," but that depends a lot on your teacher. Whether it's worth it - well, only you can really make that decision. Maybe go for a few days and change your schedule if you don't like it? (To be fair, the beginning part is the most boring, so maybe that's a bad suggestion.)

And by the way, it's not really a math class. It's mostly writing and thinking skills.

Well, to offer some perspective, everyone in my AP Stat class got a severe case of senioritis, and even those who usually got good grades ended up being totally lost with that class. It certainly depends on both your teacher and the attitude of your fellow classmates. Hell, the majority of the people in my class decided to not even take the AP Stat exam. It's the only AP exam I, my friend, and numerous others decided not to take even after taking the class.

But, if you're not lazy (and by your class list it certainly looks like you aren't) you may as well give it a go. The juniors in my class did far better than the seniors, so it's more about motivation than anything.
