Your scores are decent, your ECs are good, I'd say you have a good chance. I hate to say this, but your race is definitely in your favor.

You have a decent chance either way, but from what I have seen, it helps.

You have a great chance, just raise your SAT scores and you will be set

Any thoughts anyone?

The information at this post should help. It was provided by UT admissions, but is not publshed anywhere by UT for the general public.

Yeah your SATs are looking better and better, I think your going to get in.

Thanks foxshox, I was worried that I did not bring my SAT score up high enough.

Uhhh, I'm still waiting on their decision. Any other comments?

Sorry that I am still trying to get thoughts, but I am becoming increasingly worried that I am not going to get in. So many other OOS students on the forum have already heard and Im starting to think that I will not get in. I applies the end of November, which I thought was pretty early. I am really starting to freak out because UT Austin is my first choice. Any thoughts are GREATLY appreciated.

^the only reason most out of state here know already is they applied to Plan II...
The ad.com. told me the majority of decision for out of state is sent out during the last two weeks of March.
So if you didn't apply to Plan II (cuz of early consideration).. then don't worry until later lol

I applied during the beginning of March and haven't heard, also. UT is my first choice too

I know the Plan II honors people have already heard, but I have seen quite a few people OOS who have already heard and they did not apply to an honors program. I guess I'm just worrying too much, though. It's just so stressful, especially with my mediocre stats.
