Another paranoid hopeful...

Some of you may know by now, that Notre Dame is my dream school... Well, like most high school seniors about to send away their dream school application, I'm getting paranoid and here's why;I have spent a good 3-4 weeks writing, revising, editiding, revising again, and writing again my essay and I think that its the best that it can be. Well when i go to paste it on the Online Application, its not showing up as double spaced (which it should be.) Is anyone else having the same problem as me and should I not be so worried, I'm kinda freaking out here... haha thanks

Do they say it needs to be double spaced? I can see how that is a problem but I think it is just how Word handles spacing. If they say it needs to be double spaced then that is one thing but I don't think that is the case. They can double space it easily enough if they need to.

I personally wouldn't worry about it, but I understand how you feel and I know you have spent a lot of time on this. If you are really concerned about it you can always call them. I will also bump it with this post so hopefully others can help as well.

Don't worry, double spacing will not make or break you. Relax and breathe; you are going to have a good shot at this and you have put in the work. Good luck.

I'm pretty sure that on the online application it states that formatting will not appear on your screen but it will appear on the admissions officers' screens. Mine, too, was double spaced but it did not appear so on the screen... I wouldn't worry if I were you...

We contacted the admissions office on this same issue...essay was double spaced in word and not on the on-line application. They said, not to worry, it will be formatted correctly when they print it.

Thanks everyone, I appriciate it! I just sent away my future... good luck to everyone who applied.

yeah mine did the same thing...lol i feel the same way about sending away my future. did it a couple days ago. good luck from me too!
