I got deferred from ED. & I realized that one major reason could be my peer evaluation. It's really short & random & not at all memorable!
I'm still mad at my friend.
Anyway.
Is it okay if I sent another one now?
I have an amazing friend (really smart & knows me well) only I made the stupid decision of asking the other one cuz she's a native English speaker, so I thought she'd be more articulate, with her expressions. Obviously, I was wrong..
I really hope I could get another chance!!!

Seriously, no one?

You can always try, but the thing with schools like Dartmouth is the fact that you can’t pin decisions on something like a peer evaluation. I doubt you were in the rare situation where the peer evaluation could make/break your application. I would just wait for the regular decision, don’t worry :)

Well, I know I can’t tell for sure, but it’s definitely one of my major weaknesses…

Come one, CC!!
I need some more opinions!!

I’d say try send another in… at worst they wonder why you sent in two…

I don’t know if it will particularly show well on your part since they only ask for one, but I think I have read somewhere that if you want you can send in another (though the impression I got was that they wanted a different person… ie not both friends of yours- maybe one friend and the other a person you’ve worked with?..)

Good luck - I had the same sort of problem (but luckily I got one of my friends who knows me very well to write it- even though she doesn’t write in perfect english)

I would send another one in

Admissions officers definitely take the peer evaluation with a grain of salt. They only use it to confirm stuff your teachers and counselor say about you, and a bad eval won’t hurt you unless it says something like you’re a cheater, and Dartmouth confirms the accusation with your school officials.

you can def. send another eval if you want, but it probably wasn’t the reason you were deferred.

Good luck! :)
