Has anyone hearad of getting an Pharm D. in pharmacy and then doing research in a laboratory or pharmaeutical company? Thanks for the info.

Pharmaceutical companies hire pharmacists, but not for research. However, one can achieve a PhD in Pharmacy with just 2 years after finishing pharmacy school. With a PhD in Pharmacy, one could be a college professor, very in demand for pharmacists, or do research. If you would rather just do research, I would recommend majoring in pharmacology. Michigan State University, among other schools, offer this major.

thank you I3asketballboy

wait, theres more studying after pharmacy? GAHHHHHHHHH!!! or.... just if you want to.?

is it better to major in biochemistry then go to pharm school? some colleges offer pharmacy program, is that better?
