another question about financial aid

Hi! I didn't get any of those scholarship things (I probably should have, but I was too lazy), so I begged the financial aid office for money (I'm a rising freshman). They were really nice and gave me $10000.
Does anyone know if they continue this each year w/o being asked, or do I have to go on my knees and beg again?
Thanks!

Re-apply each year, though the process is a little different. And I assume they require a new FAFSA. Lastly, I doubt they gave you anything because you begged. You got it because you qualified. And if you continue to qualify, you will continue to receive aid.

well i dont know about being "qualified."
they didnt give me anything until i started bugging them.

thanks for the input!

Is it necessary to apply early decision in order to be eligible for merit money at Washington University?

No - you have an equal chance both ED and RD. Look at the site and also consider a nomination for the Danforth as a freshman. Scholarship Programs At-A-Glance

Thank you so much ST2. Info was very helpful.
