<p>The common app recommendation forms are acceptable even if you use the Penn app for everything else, right?</p>
<p>Also, if you apply ED will Penn see your first quarter grades?</p>
<p>I'm not admissions counselor, but I actually asked that question of my guidance counselor recently and she said that no, they don't see any of your senior grades until the midyear report...and by then you're either in or not unless you were deferred. </p>
