So, I was looking at the Daily Jolt and there was a forum on rushing, and a lot of the posts were like “all frat boys are gay” in an attempt to make the frats look bad. I was just wondering, if Brown is so liberal, why don’t the people who say things like that get flamed? Are they so liberal that they’re determined to accept people who believe that being gay is an insult? And from what I’ve heard about the liberal presence at Brown, where do these posters get the metaphorical balls to say such things? Is it just because it’s anonymous?

That's exactly what it is Rabo.
The jolt forums are filled with trolls that post inflammatory and negative things. It's almost not worth reading the posts that aren't by registered users

I don't think the stupid thing that one person said (who may not even go to Brown) can be used to come to conclusions about the school...you're def reading too much into it!!!!!!!!

It might have just been one person posting over and over again, but there were a number of posts. I'm not really trying to tack down Brown's political leanings. I was just wondering about student response.
