Another question

I'm going to be a Junior next year and i'm going in Pre-Calculus. Unfortunately I didn't have any Math courses in my Freshman year. My biggest goal by graduation is to at least get a 4 or 5 on my exams in AP Statistics, AP Physics, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus AB / BC.

So basically, my question is there any way I can take Pre-Calculus and both AP Calculus AB and BC by the end of my senior year (without taking a course over the summer)?

Yes. You can take Pre-calculus as a junior and then take Calculus BC as a senior. Of course, the Calculus BC course at your school may assume you already have AB knowledge. If that’s the case, you’d have to do independent work learning the AB material on your own to catch up. However, if your school offers an AB/BC course–covering all the material in one year–that would be your best option and you could take that in your senior year.

Otherwise, you could take AB calculus as a senior but sign up for the BC test instead, and self-study the BC material (about 60% of the BC test is AB material, so it’s not a massive undertaking) on your own (or through some college course or online class) during the school year.

I agree with absent. Just take Pre-calc your junior year and then Calc BC your senior year.

You’re not supposed to take both AB and BC…
AB is easier and BC is pretty much AB but with some more stuff. Even when you get your BC score back, you get a AB subscore. Just take Pre-calc in 11th and BC in 12th.

Ok thanks guys that helps a lot :).
