Another Rejection

I occasionally imitate British accent when I am around girls, but I do not possess a British accent.

^ that made me lol’d

so you’re a tool?

what are your a-levels?

I did not take A-levels.
Our school does not offer any.

I am not sure what you meant by a “tool”.

T-T-TOOL

AKA- Someone who goes on college admission forums to ■■■■■

I thought I have provided ample examples to clarify that I am not a ■■■■■.
Please stop this.

hmmmm yes, after reviewing I have decided that you are not a ■■■■■. Sorry about this…

I guess it was just something about your ridiculous diction, your 2400 (granted it was 3rd try so nbd), and your 10 some AP’s (the majority of which are 5’s).

and your 10 some AP’s (the majority of which are 5’s).
^I have taken 6 APs so far.
The ones were predicted scores (I am taking another 8 this year).
2400- Practice, diligence.
Soon, I will post a complete SAT guide (hopefully after Dec.31) so I hope that serves as a corroborating evidence.

How rigorous is your curriculum? If they dontthink your curriculum is up to the standard of A-levels or IB,you will have a hard time in the UK.Did they ask or essays? If they did I have a feeling that verbose language everyone has been warning you about may have been a big factor in your rejection. When it comes to US apps take the advice everyone has been giving you and tone down that language of yours-this is very serious.

I think it was your essay. If you wrote your essay as you write your posts then you probably came off as unwonted

hahaahahaaahahah

If

  1. Jozhekryx’s stats are true
    and
  2. He wrote his essay with a fun, witty touch, not too mocking, and yet displaying deep self- awareness/ love of the school
  3. his extracurriculars demonstrate an intense love/passion
    being that
  4. He did not screw up his application, like send it to the wrong school or country
Due to the fact that, according to the admission officers’ words
  5. admission is based on the aforementioned factors
And by my analysis, if Jozhekryx has met all my stipulations
  6. He would have performed well in all the crucial areas of the application
    then,it is extremely unlikely
  7. That Jozhekryx will be rejected from all his universities
    Except
if he only applied to ivies.
    Also
“I did not have the possibility to attend an interview.”
I think what you mean is opportunity. Your grammar is garbled.

The Nil Has spoken.

Most of my offers were AAB and AAA.
I provided them with AAAAAAAAAAAAAABB.
My courseload is more than enough.
IB typically includes 3-4 High Levels. (4 for overly ambitious scholars).
However, I provided them with 13-17APs in total.

PM me, and I will reply back with my essay.
I have gone over the personal statement in great detail with three of my department chairs.
None of them said anything about verbose language.

Thank you for your pertinent point.
My Common Application Essay is * entirely * different from my personal statement.

Actually I meant that you’re a tool for using a British accent around girls lol

There is a difference.

  • Opportunity * implies a favorable juncture of circumstances whereas
  • Possibility * implies a condition or fact of being possible (likely).

So, you didn’t have straight A’s, but your average is a 96.25/100? …that makes sense.

I have a hard time believing your story. sorry if I’m wrong.

First of all, as a UK applicant myself, i am very surprised that you did not put your SAT scores in the application. There is a section on UCAS where you can report your scores, both SAT and SAT subject scores. If you really did apply to the UK you would surely know that.

I already got an unconditonal offer from Edinburgh, and I presume it’s because of my SAT and SAT subject scores. Granted, Edinburgh isn’t a very competitive school, but not reporting SAT scores, especially with your fantastic statistics (if they are real), is just stupid. Like pure stupidity.

and I really don’t know what you mean by

“Most of my offers were AAB and AAA.
I provided them with AAAAAAAAAAAAAABB.”

This. Do you mean you got offers from several other schools? And I thought your school only offered AP? Where are these AAAAAAA*AAAAAAABB even from?

And also, UK doesn’t care at all about your transcript. It’s your predicted grades that matter. Transcripts don’t play any role in the process. So your not-straight-A transcipt had no effect on your application. I don’t think schools even send them.

Either you are just hopelessly misinformed or you are a ■■■■■.

Thank you, let us continue.

Yes, I was aware of that. Please be aware of the fact that the competition pool is cutthroat, especially for international applicants.

I translated AP “5s” into As and As (A*s were the subjects with the recommendation letter).

I had 5s and 8 predicted 5s.
I beg to differ. My college specifically sent me a mail about my transcript.
I had to ask my counselor once again to send it by the deadline.

I beg to differ.

If you were aware you could report your SAT scores for UK schools, why did you not send them? Or is report different than send?
