i got 790 math, i know, nerd...
680 in reading, this is where i kno i could go up, but was best i ever got
720 in writing, have done better, but dont care about this section...
i still dont consider writing too important, i even heard most colleges dont either, like columbia. The hardest college im applying for is Columbia University, and possibly Upenn. Other colleges were Jhop, NYU, Cornell, and then my safeties.
SO... its no 2350, i think this is a score in which its actually a borderline question of should i retake. theres is definitely room for improvement. The problem is, MANY ppl say, are u crazy thats good, even collegeboards letter states im most likely gonna go down... based on other people. WHAT DO I DO??

If your going for Columbia and UPenn, try going for ~700 on reading.

Would a 2190 ( 690CR, 740M, 770W) keep me out of Tufts if I'm in NY?

The letters saying you'll go down assume statistics--but retake if

1) You're trying to be on par with a school's admitted students
2) If you are sure you can do better (by a reasonably high amount)
3) If you can dedicate time to practice

hmm... Murasaki put it well
1) well, on par with COlumbia and Upenn, yea
2) see, this is it, im PRETTY sure, not positive i could do better by like 30 points... not a high amount :-/
3) allll... f*kin... summmer.... if i need to of course
