Another retake thread- raising science worth it?

I took the ACT for the first time without preparing at all, although I did prepare a lot for the SAT which may have helped, and my scores were:

English- 33
Math- 34
Reading- 32
Science- 24 (ouch.)
Composite- 31

So I was happy with all my scores except the science one, and I still have time to retake in the fall. However, even if I raised my science score to a 30, it would only raise my composite by 1 pt, so I don't know whether prepping for science is worth it. I'll be applying to schools with selectivity levels like Case and University of Rochester, and I've heard that a 31 is a pretty decent score for schools like those. I'm just afriad that such a low science score (I think 24 is only 80th percentile) will hurt, especially if I want to major to be science-related. So should I retake?

Go for it. You choose which scores to send anyways. Composite wise.

I would definetely consider retaking the test again to get your Science score higher.

Yeah. Just remember to RUSH during the science part. Don't read the instructions, background info, etc. Just find the answer and move on, keep moving that pencil!
