No one could not generally make decisions and contribute more if they were restrained by force and pressure. Everyone in this world is unique and we all have our own imaginations, thoughts, and intelligence. Such uniqueness could only be accomplished only if we are allowed to do things by our own methods.
People are likely to get more creative when they are allowed to do things on themselves. Even though they are highly controlled by forces, such as parents, their wants and ambitions could not be controlled. A botanist, Charles Darwin best exemplifies this. His life was severely managed by his parents to become a priest. He did not denied this but later, his curiosity of genetics led him to experience the genetics of pea plants. Yet, he becomes a father of genetics and if he had never observe such experience according to his curiosity, the theories of genetics will never be developed.
Another example is an ever-Indian hero, Mahatma Ghandi. He fought for India independence against the British. During the time, civilians in India had been under control of British and no one have wills to oppose the British. However, Ghandi wants to help his people free from these controls. Hence, he denied all his religious practice and developed a method called ‘civil disobedience’, where he opposes the rules and justifications of the British. Many people later practiced this practice. Sooner or later, the country gained victory. Yet, Ghandi is portraying as a hero who accomplish to gain triumph against British as he did things by his own methods.
After great analysis of Darwin and Ghandi, it is evident that people, indeed, needed to do things in their own way to achieve more and to be more creative. Thus, everyone had to have freedom to do whatever he or she prefers to bring about good outcomes.
